The Resistance

Hu Sang, Jeremy Williams, Li Zhang

During the infamous occupation of China at the outset of WW2, Japanese atrocities have gone too far. In response a Chinese peasant girl forms a band of assassins to take on the Imperial Army and their brutal Nazi allies.

This epic tale of revenge combines the best aspects of martial arts and war movies. Screened at the Cannes Film Festival, this film is a great blend of history and kick-a*s action. The fight between our heroine and the Japanese officer’s killer-geishas is not to be missed.
