Rudy Ray Moore, Carol Speed, Lady Reed, Jimmy Lynch, Jerry Jones

The fourth film in Rudy Ray Moore’s legendary run of cult classics, Moore goes full mythic avenger in this wild, street-level grindhouse classic that mixes kung fu, disco, blaxploitation swagger, and street-preacher intensity into a movie that feels more like a midnight ritual than a film. Raw, unfiltered, and dripping with dangerous charisma, Disco Godfather is a fever dream of 1970s urban cinema — equal parts revenge fantasy, drug war warning, and funk-fueled showdown. This is cult cinema at its purest: fearless, unhinged, and powered entirely by attitude.

Tucker Williams, a retired police officer turned nightclub owner, finds his world shattered when a close friend is left broken by a sinister new street drug. As chaos spreads through the city and the police prove useless, Tucker takes justice into his own hands, going undercover in the clubs, alleys, and backrooms of the nightlife scene. Moving through a world of dealers, junkies, pimps, and predators, he wages a one-man war against the shadowy forces poisoning his community — armed with street smarts, fists, and an unstoppable will.

American Genre Film Archive calls it “the shimmering finale in the cycle of Rudy Ray Moore’s blaxploitation gems… with a gritty PSA twist.”
